Durante el mes pasado ESET Latinoamérica destacó el uso de servidores web vulnerados como técnica para propagar el malware y troyanos diseñados para descargar amenazas.
Las empresas mexicanas gastaron 1.3 mil millones de dólares en problemas de malware por el uso de software no legal. Mientras que los usuarios pasaron 27 millones de horas en arreglos.
De acuerdo con el estudio que la empresa de seguridad informática realizó en 2011, se detectaron un total de 5,255 nuevas modificaciones y 178 familias de nuevos programas maliciosos para smartphones.
